Spending time alone with God...
Today's teaching is on the importance of spending time alone with God. You can find it under "Discipleship 401" http://growingasadiscipleofchrist-fionab.blogspot.com/ God wants us to have a close relationship with Him, not just be "religious". Studying the Word and spending time in His presence are key if you want to become mature and strong in your walk with Christ.

Do thoughts fight for attention in your mind?
We all struggle with our thoughts. Some are thoughts that we wouldn't care if others knew what we were thinking,...other thoughts can be embarrassing, and can even make us upset at ourselves for having them. Today's lesson continuing under "Discipleship 301" looks at how you can get better control over your inner thoughts, and it comes in the form of memorizing Scripture. You'd be amazed at how filling your mind with a Bible verse rather than allowing your thoughts to just go where they want can make a difference, in not only how you feel, but also in your ability to have a closer walk with God.

Ever wonder about the "Trinity"?
In the first teaching under "Discipleship 301"
we will look at what the "Trinity" is and how it is a main doctrine
of the Christian faith. The Trinity has,
and probably always will be, a serious point of contention between other
religions, cults and Christianity. You
can read about it at http://growingasadiscipleofchrist-fionab.blogspot.com/
