Living as a person of faith who has chronic illness or pain...

It can be very difficult being a person of faith who has chronic illness or pain.  We may find ourselves wondering why God doesn't heal us, or at least lead us to the right medical care so we can find the relief we desire.  Today's teaching under "Living with Severe, Chronic Pain: Part Three" looks at this struggle that many of us live with on a daily basis.  I hope that it will give you some encouragement in the midst of your suffering.  You can find it at http://fionab-livingwithpainandillness.blogspot.com/

Thank you for following my blog. I just noticed. You have a wonderful blog here. If you read my last post you know that my mom has Chronic Kidney Disease. She is in the last stages and now depends on dialysis to act as her kidneys. It is so hard to watch my mom slowly deteriorating. It is a helpless feeling, and makes me very sad. She is 77yrs. old and she is a Christian and knows where she is going when she takes her last breath here on earth. Still it is hard as you know, being so sick and for my mom depending on others. I help her as much as I can. Well that is enough for now. My mom reads my blog but is not a blogger. I am very careful what I say concerning my mom on my blog.
I will tell her about your blog and maybe if she feels up to it she will read some of what you have to say on your blog.
God Bless you and I am sure many will be touched by what you have to say.
Dianne :)

So sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom and my sister almost three years ago, so know how difficult it can be. They both died about 6 weeks apart so was a very difficult time for my father. I'm glad that your mom is prepared to meet the Lord and I'm sure that although it's a difficult time for you, that this must bring some comfort to you. bless you!
