Living with Chronic Illness: Parts One and Two

Parts One  and Two have now been moved to its own blog titled  "Living with Chronic Pain and Illness" which can be found here   or at http://fionab-livingwithpainandillness.blogspot.com/

Thank you for your patience.  I feel that all these teachings need to be on one blog for consistency and for people, who in the future, will be looking for help in dealing with their chronic pain and chronic illness issues.

Thanks, Mark. Glad you're enjoying my blog as I know you're dealing with a lot of serious health issues yourself.

Your words strike a chord with me, probably with any reader acquainted with chronic or prolonged illness. A "real life" friend who is 18 months into a breast cancer fight shares the same kinds of feelings with me regularly. All that is to say that (1) I'm so sorry you are struggling and feeling worse rather than better, and (2) you are not alone or peculiar in these emotional struggles. Thank you for sharing the comfort the Lord gave you in a hard week. What a beautiful little fawn! May He relieve the swelling in your optic nerves and restore your health and mobility. May He bring community to you when you can't go out to it. May He strengthen your marriage and show you and your husband how to glorify Him in loving each other within the boundaries entrusted to you. Great grace and deep comfort to you in Jesus, Fiona.

Thanks, tinuviel. I'm so sorry to hear about your friends struggle with breast cancer. I have known some who have had to deal with that and when I look at my own health issues I'm almost ashamed that I complain, when they have so much more to contend with. Thank you for your prayers and kind words :)
